Two years of impactful collaboration: JRS & World Medicine

On October 27th, JRS UK and World Medicine (WM) came together to reflect on and celebrate their two-year partnership. It was an opportunity for volunteers from World Medicine (who dedicate their time and expertise to provide refugee friends with acupuncture sessions every week), WM trustees, and staff from JRS to meet one another.

Dallya Alhorri, Refugee Activities Coordinator, reflected on how this was a time to celebrate two years of collaboration:

“This event served as a platform for all of us to come together and celebrate a remarkable milestone in our partnership. Over the past two years, our two organizations have worked closely, forging a strong bond while making a profound impact on the lives of our refugee friends.”

As the day unfolded, attendees seized the opportunity to share their experiences and stories from their time working together. It was a moment to recognize the progress made and the positive difference created in the lives of our refugee friends. The heart warming feedback from World Medicine volunteers was a testament to the transformative impact they have witnessed, adding a special touch to the occasion.

Looking Towards the Future:

One of the highlights of the event was the discussion of World Medicine’s future plans with JRS UK. We’ll keep you updated as we continue to partner and grow in our relationship with World Medicine to provide acupuncture and wellbeing services to our refugee friends.
