Intercessions on Detention

We pray for all our friends who have recently left detention. May they be given your consolation as they return and readjust to life outside the centres.

We pray for all those who are detained indefinitely in immigration removal centres. We also pray for those who have been released and are still affected by their experiences.

Lord, hear us.

We pray for those held in detention. We ask that they might feel your presence close to them during the difficult moments of isolation.

Lord, hear us.

We pray for those who are held in immigration detention. We ask that they may be consoled during this time of increased isolation in which they are not allowed visitors.

We pray for those who are detained. We ask that they may know they are not forgotten.
