Intercessions on the Church

We pray for all Christians around the world as we enter into the Easter Triduum. We ask that we might feel united in prayer during this most unusual of Holy Weeks.

We pray for all those religious congregations and communities who devote themselves to tirelessly working for the benefit of others. We ask that they might continue to flourish and bring life to those they serve.

On this Feast of St Ignatius, we pray for the Society of Jesus. We ask that you bless Jesuits and their work across the world.

We pray for all those religious congregations around the world who work to serve you in the people they meet. We pray especially for all those who work and with JRS, here and across the globe.

On the Feast of St Alberto Hurtado, we pray that we might accompany those who are forced to the margins of society. We ask that like him we might see Christ in all those we meet.

We pray for the work of the Jesuits in Britain. We ask you to bless their work in building faith, advancing justice and promoting understanding.

We pray for Pope Francis as he leads the Catholic Church. May he be filled with the Holy Spirit and granted wisdom to guide the Church through these difficult times.

We pray for that we may imitate the ‘little way’ of St Thérèse and that we may carry out all our deeds, however small, with great love.
