The Wishlist

JRS UK is incredibly grateful to have been offered a house, rent free, to host destitute female refugees who find themselves homeless. The house is situated in Stockwell, South London and will be managed by JRS UK and offer refugee women safety and comfort from a life on the street.

We have recently completed some renovation works on the property and are now looking for donations of household items so that residents have all they need to feel happy and comfortable in the property.

The full list of items are below. Items in bold we’re really in need of. For any item marked with an * we need new or as new due to electrical safety requirements.

We’ll be updating this page as regularly as possible, but please do contact us before donating items to check we have not already received them.

Please contact Nick or Hannah with any quetsions:

Organise a Parish Collection

  1. Designate a collection/drop off point at your parish and a time frame to collect donations (we suggest 4th -25th March but these dates can be flexible to fit with other activities in your parish)
  2. Promote the appeal to your parishioners with this flyer (click to download).
  3. Collect the items over a 3-4 week period.
  4. Contact JRS to arrange a date when we can come and collect the donations

If you don’t have items to donate but would still like to contribute, you are more than welcome to buy items online and have them delivered directly to JRS at:
