Welcoming the Stranger – Information Session for JRS UK’s At Home Hosting Scheme

Have you thought about welcoming a refugee?

In an increasingly hostile environment, the compassionate human encounter which forms the basis of the JRS UK hosting scheme is transformative – for both host and guest.

We know that opening your home and community to welcome a stranger can be a daunting prospect. JRS UK’s ‘At Home’ scheme is designed to prepare hosts and guests in advance of the hosting placement, with support delivered by a dedicated Accommodation Team continuing throughout.

If you would like to find out more about the scheme, please join Amy-Leigh, JRS Accommodation Coordinator, and Victoria, JRS Community Engagement Officer, for an information session at Farm Street.

When: 7:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday 30th May 2023

Where: In-person at Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, 114 Mount St, Mayfair, London W1K 3AH

For any more information or if you have any questions, please email uk@jrs.net.
