Our first Accompaniment in Action event in 2021 is a very exciting one. We will be joined by Dallya Alhorri, JRS UK’s Refugee Activity Coordinator, for a showcase of some of the activities that have been going on in recent months.

Activities have been a big part of what brings the JRS community together, allowing refugees to develop and learn new skills, show their creativity and get to know others. Whilst the current situation means activities haven’t been able to run at the centre, Dallya has been coordinating and leading sessions online alongside with the help of some facilitators and of course our refugee friends!
Join us on Wednesday 24th February between 18:30 – 19:30 for a showcase of some of the different activity groups run by the Jesuit Refugee Service UK, including a performance by the JRS UK Hopes and Dreams drama group and a closer look at the Spoken Pictures photography sessions. As well as seeing some of what the different activity groups have been doing, we will hear from some of our refugee friends about what makes taking part in the activities so important.
Those of you who joined us for our Advent Service will have already seen some of the fruits of our activities and we hope you will be able to join us again!
