The JRS Spring Newsletter arrived on our supporters’ doorsteps last week. Highlighting the latest news of our work regarding the borders bill, detention, refugee events and more. We also celebrate good news from our refugee friends with all of our supporters.
The Newsletter features the joy to celebrate alongside refugee friends. One of our refugee friends, Rahman, got his refugee status after 8 years of waiting. He expresses how grateful he is for JRS support during his difficult journey.
On page four, our Policy Officer Sophie gives us an update on the Border’s Bill, her reflections of the past few months, and why the support of every one is more important than ever.
Furthermore, our Detention Officer, William Neal clarifies why JRS offers social visiting into immigration detention and articulates about the power of visiting people in detention.
