Refugee Gifts: How it works
JRS Refugee Gifts are virtual charity gifts which will delight your loved ones, and destitute refugees in the UK, at the same time.
1. Purchase
Browse our unique life-changing gifts. Add one, or many, to your basket and pay securely through the website.
You can choose to purchase a printed card in the post, or a PDF download of a card.
2. Your gift is on its way!
If you choose a printed card: a greetings card – illustrated by a refugee friend – will be posted to you, along with an envelope. The card explains what the gift is, and the impact it will have on the life of a refugee friend, with plenty of space for you to add a personal message for the recipient.
If you choose a PDF download: a link to download a PDF card will be e-mailed to you shortly after purchase. You can choose to print it yourself, or email it to the recipient directly as a PDF.
Please note: downloadable gift cards will be available for purchase from 13 November 2020.
3. Make a difference
The money you spend on your gift helps make a difference to the lives of destitute refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

Every Refugee Gift is a real example of JRS UK’s work supporting destitute refugees, asylum seekers and people held in immigration detention.
When you purchase a gift, you support the area of our work that this gift represents. There are three areas of work that your gifts support:

About the artwork
We commissioned EE, a refugee friend of JRS, to design the cover artwork for the gift cards. Though the artwork, EE shares her experiences, and that of her friends, with you.
