Where will the money I raise go?
All the money you raise will go directly towards supporting destitute refugees in the UK.
JRS UK provides food, clothing, and other essentials like mobile phone top-ups, nappies, and sanitary products. We also provide accommodation, advice, and legal support to help people navigate the asylum system.
We serve refugees of all faiths and none from more than eighty countries, who are banned from working and unable to access government asylum support.
JRS UK relies upon the donations and fundraising efforts of our amazing supporters to continue accompanying refugees in an increasingly difficult environment.
Join Team JRS UK and run a 10k or half marathon on a picturesque mixed terrain course which takes you through the stunning grounds of Wimbledon Common.
Your £200 fundraising target could help us deliver
- 20 mobile top-ups for someone held in detention each month
- Provide 10 hardship grants so refugee friends can afford food, pay for travel to medical and legal appointments, and do laundry
- 33 hot meals at our social drop-in
- £100 can help us provide more nights of safe and stable accommodation for refugees at risk of homelessness
- English classes to help people as they rebuild their lives in the UK
