Thank you so much for walking with refugees and supporting JRS UK's work.
Your generous donation supports JRS UK in its mission to accompany, serve and advocate alongside and for refugees and people who have been forcibly displaced, who find themselves destitute or detained as a direct result of the UK’s cruel and inhumane asylum system.
We rely on the generosity of individuals, parishes and religious communities to enable us to continue our work. Thanks to donations like yours, we are able to accompany over 300 destitute refugees with practical and emotional support, and offer crucial support to vulnerable people in immigration detention.
With your support, the JRS hardship fund continues to provide regular hardship grants to refugee friends and JRS volunteers and staff are able to respond to increasing need. The JRS advice and support team are always on hand to offer accompaniment, support and advice on a range of issues.
We know that the situation affecting refugees and people seeking asylum is likely to get tougher, so we are especially grateful for kindness and generosity which will help us respond to this growing need and to continue our advocacy for a fairer and more humane asylum system.
"Thank you JRS - what you provide means a lot. Thank you for your careful attention and your continuous follow-up."

One of the greatest challenges faced by the refugees accompanied by JRS UK, is the lack of accommodation. The JRS At Home programme organises short term accommodation with individuals, parishes and religious communities for refugees who would otherwise be homeless.
If you live in the London area and have a spare room, you could make a huge difference to the life of refugee.
JRS UK has a range of resources for reflection and prayer, including poems, liturgies and guidance on how to use them in your community or organisation. On this page you will also find our daily prayer, helping bring the experience of refugees and asylum seekers into your thoughts and reflection, as well as resources for the most recent World Day of Migrants and Refugees, and liturgical periods of Lent and Advent.
Have you always wanted to run a marathon? JRS UK has places each year for the London Marathon.
As a #TeamJRS runner you will receive:
JRS UK provides essential items such as toiletries, food and clothes to refugee friends at the JRS shop. Why not make a donation of some of these much needed items?
Leaving a gift in your will to a charity is a special way to leave a legacy. By remembering refugees with a gift in your will, your values of love and care for your neighbour will live on through the services of JRS UK.
Contact us for a guide on how you can make this possible. Email uk@jrs.net or call 0207488 7321 for a confidential conversation about leaving a legacy.
You can help raise money for JRS anytime you shop on-line through Give As You Live. Over 3,000 on-line retailers will give a donation to us as a charity every time you make a purchase. This income provides resources for setting up smaller projects that we cannot get grants for.
